Where to Watch The World Cup!!!

Postby TudorRose » Mon Jun 16, 2014 2:01 pm

I've emailed all the Broadland Pubs and asked them to let me know if they are showing the World Cup. Hopefully this will be useful info for any of you out boating over the next few weeks.

First reply is in and it is from Glenn at The Pleasureboat, Hickling.

Yes, we've got every game on our 50" TV in the Marquee...all decorated out in England colours (may change to Brazil if England get knocked out!!)

Plenty of seating, great atmosphere Saturday night, and of course free moorings for users of the Pub.....

All you lot have to do is get underneath THAT BRIDGE!!!!!!

Will keep you updated with more responses. -A-

From Harriet at The Red Lion, Coltishall...

We are showing all of the World Cup matches (that fall within 12-11pm opening times) and have a separate room with access to the bar that has a tv in it. We are lucky in that the pub has an unusual layout but that enables us to show the football, offer food and still have a bar area for people that just want to have a drink and not get involved in the football.
