Avatar Problems

Postby TudorRose » Wed Sep 07, 2011 1:20 pm

We have been experiencing problems with members getting their Avatar's to display but I have had a play around and think I have found a solution.

If you currently don't have an Avatar but would like one upload it via the user control panel as normal making sure it is within the size requirements. It will probably still not display but don't panic!!!!! :Oh

Post here or PM me to tell me you have uploaded your picture and as if by magic I will pop into the Admin panel and make it appear. :wow

I'm not right up on this pooter lark but I've shook the laptop and the hamster still seems to be moving around inside. Might be me that's doing it wrong, usually ask my son but he's in bed! (it's bad when you need a 12 year old to show you the way with technology  ) sometimes I wonder how I hold my job down!

Hi BroadsPiker.

The Picture needs to be no more than 300 x 200 pixels in size. the forum should resize it automatically but that feature does not seem to be working. If its larger than that it will not upload properly.
If its under that size and still will not load then please mail it to me petemarr@thenorfolkbroads.org and I will upload it from this end for you.

That was too easy!

The man knows his moorings! Cracking fishing round that area, especially for the bream. Only downside is the Broads tours boats churning up the groundbait on a night. Would be bearable if they played some decent music on the way past. Surely you can only listen to the Grease megamix once before wanting to chuck yourself overboard! -F

No fear of only once.
Based at Horning the tourboat music !!!!!!!!! has been heard by us leaving Wroxham all the way to Ranworth when the DJ was heard to say this is Ranworth we will be turning back now. All this heard from Horning Marina.
Trouble is the Grease Megamix was played going back as well so twice in the space of an hour.

We keep a life ring handy for those that do chuck themselves overboard. .Tee. .Tee. .Tee. .Tee. .Tee. .Tee.
