SWAN RINGING.

If you notice a very nice man grabbing hold of swans ,and tucking them under his arm dont be alarmed he is ringing them.
Once again some folk are blaming migrant workers for snaffling them for a quick meal .

My job used to take me to Northern France on a regular basis. Next door to our factory there, was a Citroen garage. In order to keep the place secure, the owner had a flock of geese which, if someone had tried to nick a car, would have raised the alarm.

On my last visit there, I went over to the garage, but the geese were nowhere to be seen. I asked the owner what had happened to them. He shrugged his shoulders and said one word. "Romanians".

I rest my case.
