We sampled the Bridge on Saturday night. When we arrived we found the car park almost full, but eventually found a place to leave the car. Happy days had warned us that there was a quiz on and the roundel, which is normally the dining area was full of quizzers. We got sorted out with a table in the main pub and had a huge fish and chips (i thought whaling was illegal!) washed down with a couple of pints of very passable Wherry. The quality of food and attentiveness of service were spot on and a very enjoyable evening was had. We were able to overhear the quiz questions, where we were sitting, and even managed to work out some of the answers, although I didn't know that there are 35,000 species of spiders! -um- -um-
