Hi Andy,

I wish him luck as well, it is not easy to be a landlord on the Broads.

I was talking to a previous landlord on Thursday who had the pub in the early 2000's, he was a delivery driver delivering to us in Sheffield. We had a good chat about the pub and Horning.

Regards

I read a facebook post suggesting that it was in new hands.

Does anybody know more about this? Has Richard and Anne sold the tennancy? Is Ann, Lee and family still there? What of Gus?

No obvious changes to the New Inn, Horning.
The new Landlord seems to be a pleasant enough chap and is on the scene most days chatting to the customers, (although I have not personally talked to him)
Gus is Gus is Gus as always and still organising mooring boats as well as keeping the gardens in top condition and the many other duties he performs. Sue (Smurf) is still working in the Kitchens.
Richard and Ann I have not seen but are still living in the village as far as I know.
A few new faces behind the bar but service is still top notch.

Anne and Lee are still about,( Anne still works there) but have a new venture in the form of a Ladies hairdressers in the precinct at Hoveton, appropriately called LeeAnnes. So if anyone feels they need their barnet pampered thats the place to go.

Business as usual and The New Inn is still one of the most pleasant pubs on the broads, best wishes to the new Landlord and staff.

Edited to say the new landlord is Mark Stockley.
